Rumors of the Serenity fan film The Bellflower’s death have been greatly exaggerated. And while it’s true the film has been delayed a bit, it’s only because The Bellflower’s creators are working hard to increase the awesome.

In this week’s update to the Bellflower Launch Center we have a new ship (the Autumn Jade), a new section (Goodies) and a news update from Bellflower’s Executive Producer.

Goodies deals with the ephemera of creating a convincing vision of the Verse for Bellflower’s characters to play in. I dare you not to crack a smile when you see Cat Noodles for the first time, or enjoy the Fruity Oaty Bar shipping label, which warns that the bars might contain trace amounts of fruit and oats. And the flavor? Hm… a wonder what “moonbeams” taste like?

The Autumn Jade is yet another in the fabulous new ship designs being introduced in the movie. And for news, MJ reports that the project got some timely help from our readers here, on Twitter, Facebook and the QMx main website.
