A Browncoat Holiday

Hello, Core-Techs! Sorry for the long silence, but since landing that Firefly license last month we’ve been knee-deep in the Fox reference library, uncovering Browncoat treasures galore (for example, this lovely shot of our own Capt. Tightpants relaxing on his bridge).

But that’s not really what I’m here to discuss. No, I’m here to let you know we’re going to be celebrating the holidays the best way we know how – by posting lots of goodies and shiny surprises for you here the week between Christmas and New Year. And we’ll be starting on Christmas Day with a personal gift from me to the Browncoat community.

So when you’re done opening presents Christmas morning, be sure to drop by the Firefly Ship Works. We’ll have a something all wrapped up and waiting for you. – ag

Will it be my ship? Doubt it :-(

What license are you talking about, that statement seems out of no where, did I miss a post?

  7. admin says:

Atom – it says in the first sentence of the post – we got the first Firefly collectibles license from Fox last month.

  8. Atom says:

But you’ve been making stuff since before last month, is it merely the distinction of the Paramount license verses the Fox license? Either way, future looks good. Congrats!

@Atom: Qmx said this on Facebook on 22 November:
QMx has landed first-ever collectibles licenses for Firefly and Dr. Horrible, including replicas, maq…uettes, t-shirts, posters and novelties (keychains, bumper stickers, etc.)

It’s 1:15 a.m. in the UK here, but I’m guessing I’ve got to wait until after 9am PST? ;-)

  13. admin says:

Sorry, Stephen, but yeah, it’s still Christmas Eve for a new more hours in Los Angeles ;-)

  14. Stephen Morton says:

IIRC, 9am PST is 5pm UK time, so I’ll see what’s arrived once I get back from my sister’s. :-)
    Happy Holidays!

Gods, this makes me happy. A shiny New Year to all.
