Off topic here so no need to post this but because I just got the insider email and noticed the 302 information…Stargate replicator chip replicas might be an item to offer. I could picture a pile of them and also could picture magnetic ones that let you assemble a bug. too bad you couldn’t fine a way to turn the magnetic property of the chip on and off so you could go from assembled critter to a pile of chips you could pour back and forth from one hand to the other. ok..maybe a central battery powered module (or just a normal strong magnet that you can’t turn on and off) is magnetic and the chips (that are not magnetic) adhere to that, covering its surface. Then you have the best of both worlds.

Server must have been jammed, I often get problems loading the QMX site. It was also disappointing to get my QMX newsletter which said I could still get Keep Flyin’ Serenity Scenes Poster Set, which is out of stock, poor form!

Cant wait for the Creation coverage!

Did I say last night? I meant always. : (

Of course it doesn’t stop me from trying to buy stuff when it actually loads. 2 Verse posters for me (if it loads).

Christim – Heh, well, we had a special item at the show – replicator chips that actually came from the Stargate prop shop. We got them to make up a bunch for us we’re going to offer as a limited edition item (can’t call them replicas as they are the real thing). They were the hit of the Stargate side of the con. Of course, they didn’t have magnets in ‘em, but don’t think we aren’t looking into *that* ;-)

If you can pull off something that lets the chips stick together, or not, that would be cool. Although having it “collapse” and then regain its form, after looking at this image http://img71.imageshack.us/img71/9593/mirko391024×768me2.jpg makes me wonder how possible that would be. This one might be easier to pull off. It looks more stable: http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/47/mirko401024×768iv7.jpg

Atom – I am so sorry you’ve had problems. I think overall the site has been working okay, but we got absolutely inundated this weekend – (inundated = 10x our normal traffic). I’ve added two new rack servers to the site to try and balance the load; hopefully things are working better for you now. (If not, e-mail me at admin@fireflyshipworks.com and I’ll see to it our customer service folks call to take your order personally).

    Thanks!

Thanks, I got my orders in. Just thought you guys would want to know of any problems, but as I see, you’re all over it!
